Job Purpose

Performs skilled duties related to installations, operation, maintenance & repairs to heating, ventilating & air condition (HVAC) systems within large campus dormitories and buildings connected to the Central Energy Facility. This includes chilled water systems, steam heated hot water, steam condensate piping, and self-contained refrigerant systems. Installs, operates, maintains and repairs residential heating, ventilating and air conditioning units in smaller college buildings and dormitories, historical homes and office buildings. Duties include performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment problems and making repairs as required.
