Job Summary and Qualifications

What you will do in this role:

• You will perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on various Hospital systems and equipment asrequiredto assureoptimumefficiency,reliabilityand safety.

• You willmaintainfull compliance with OSHA lock out / tag out safety practices.

• You will consistentlyutilizesapproved PPE for safety asrequired.

• You will label equipment out of service andinformsstaff ofback upequipment in a timely manner.

• You will properly operate and respond touseoft two- wayradio communications in a timely manner.

• You willassistother department staff andacceptsadditionalresponsibilities as given bydepartmentManager.

What qualifications you will need:

• Competent in use of various hand tools, diagnostic and repair equipment.

• Ability to interpretblue prints/drawings.

• Excellent troubleshooting andproblem solvingskills.

• Good written/oral communication skills.

• Familiar with basic NFPA, ASRAE Standards and the ability to learn JCAHO Standards and develop and implement new policies.

• Good Computer system skillsrequired.

• High school diploma or GEDrequired.

• A valid Tennessee drivers licenserequired.

• Three years minimum Healthcare or equivalent experiencerequired.
