Description

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our team in Nashville, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating daily schedules, communicating with drivers and field personnel, monitoring service requests, and helping ensure operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, communicates clearly and professionally, and can manage multiple priorities while adapting quickly to changing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, technicians, or field personnel to assigned service locations

• Coordinate daily routes and modify schedules as operational needs change

• Monitor job progress and provide timely updates to customers, team members, and management

• Maintain accurate records of work orders, service calls, schedules, and dispatch activity

• Communicate professionally with customers, employees, and leadership

• Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and respond promptly to unexpected changes

• Track service activity to help ensure assignments are completed accurately and on time

• Use dispatching software, GPS tools, and Microsoft Office applications to support daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, customer service, or operations preferred

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to stay calm, think clearly, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment

• Proficiency with computers, scheduling systems, and related software

• High school diploma or equivalent required
