Job Summary

Description

Robert Half Finance & Accounting and Kevin Sweet have partnering with a large organization making a significant investment in its Finance function as it evolves its strategy, structure, and operations. As part of this transformation, the company is building a brand-new Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) and Strategy Group and is seeking a Financial Analyst to join this newly created team.

This is much more than a traditional Financial Analyst role. Youll be joining at a pivotal point in the organizations evolution, with the opportunity to help develop processes, enhance reporting, strengthen forecasting, analyze business performance, and provide financial insights that support important business decisions.

My client offers a hybrid work schedule, beautiful new offices, a competitive annual salary, an annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

For confidential consideration and further details about this unique and ground floor opportunity, contact Kevin Sweet directly at 682-499-1182 or via email at Kevin.Sweet@RobertHalf.C0M

Responsibilities:

Contribute to company-wide budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning activities across multiple business locations.

Build, update, and refine financial models, planning tools, and analytical reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.

Evaluate financial and operating results to uncover trends, explain performance gaps, and highlight risks and growth opportunities.

Partner with accounting, operations, and business leaders to interpret results and turn data into practical recommendations.

Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting packages, summaries, and presentations for finance leadership and other stakeholders.

Create and maintain dashboards, key performance indicators, and management reporting that increase visibility into business performance.

Support monthly and quarterly close-related analysis by comparing actual results against plans and explaining primary performance drivers.

Recommend ways to improve margins, spending discipline, and operating efficiency through targeted financial analysis.

Assist in strengthening FP& A processes, reporting capabilities, analytical tools, and scalable workflows as the function continues to develop.

Provide financial support for business cases, capital planning efforts, strategic initiatives, and other special projects.

Why This Opportunity Stands Out

If youre looking for a Financial Analyst opportunity where your work goes beyond producing spreadsheets and routine reports, this is an opportunity to make an impact from the ground up.

Youll gain exposure to corporate FP& A and strategic initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional business partners, contribute to the development of new reporting and forecasting processes, and grow alongside a newly established finance team.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP& A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related field.

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline required.

  • Experience working within a large, multi-location or multi-site organization.

  • Ability to analyze financial and operational data, identify trends, and communicate meaningful business insights.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Operations, and business leaders.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills required.

  • Experience with ERP systems, business intelligence and reporting tools, or financial planning platforms is a plus.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment where processes and expectations are being developed and refined.

  • Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn, contribute, and make an impact.
