Reconcile bank accounts, credit card activity, and key balance sheet accounts to maintain clean and dependable financial data.
Produce internal financial reports and assist with budget-versus-actual reviews to help leadership understand operational results.
Work with project managers and operations partners to verify cost coding, review invoices, and ensure vendor and subcontractor documentation is complete.
Assist with audit readiness and help uphold internal controls, financial procedures, and compliance standards. Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of accounting experience within construction, real estate development, or a similar project-based environment.
Working knowledge of accrual accounting and its application in day-to-day financial operations.
Experience with job costing, project accounting, and tracking financial activity tied to active projects.
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
