Job Summary
- Establish work assignments for subordinates
- Conduct required meetings on schedule in accordance with scheduled guidelines
- Enforce company rules and regulations and attendance policy
- Enforce, interpret, and correctly apply the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)
- Perform supervisory responsibilities, for example, hire/fire, disciplinary actions, counseling sessions, proper issuance of disciplinary actions including terminations, and professional development
- Analyze work status in order to determine if production schedule and quality guidelines will be met
- Create recovery plans/corrective actions when necessary
- Coordinate cross functionally to support the success of the schedule
- Ensure financial goals and objectives set by department are met and adhered to
- Ensure staffing is consistent with budgetary and production requirements.
- Ensure employees receive proper training on company equipment as required by Company and OSHA requirements.
