Job Summary
- Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and understanding of tool design concepts, estimates, and span times.
- Experience with metrology equipment, such as laser trackers, portable arms, and laser radar, and measurement software, preferably Spatial Analyzer.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong data collection and statistical skills.
- Develop and document best practices to support manufacturing technology process improvements.
- Analyze engineering models, GD&T intent, and laser inspection results while solving complex manufacturing challenges.
- Manage daily metrology workflows to enhance efficiency and resource utilization.
- Perform precision measurements using portable metrology systems and maintain accurate inspection records.
- Assist with test plans, capability assessments, and the introduction of innovative inspection technologies.
