Patrol and monitor U.S. borders to detect and prevent illegal entry of individuals and contraband Respond to sensor alerts and surveillance systems while conducting field operations in various terrain and weather conditions Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate records of incidents, apprehensions, and activities in the field
Must be a U.S. citizen and no older than 37 years of age at the time of appointment (with some exceptions for veterans) Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a thorough background investigation, medical exam, and drug screening Willingness to relocate to an assigned duty station along the U.S. border as determined by the agency
