Job Summary

UDRI is seeking an entry to mid-level reliability analyst to support our aerostructures research projects, with emphasis on aircraft landing gear systems. The candidate will aid in conducting reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) analyses, parsing and analyzing large datasets or information databases, and collaborating these topics with internal and external customers. Additional job duties may include generating bills of materials, assessing military technical orders, developing algorithms for probabilistic and risk assessments, creating CAD solid models, and developing technical documentation including presentations, reports, drawings, and other engineering data.

The position is within UDRI’s Aerostructures Team which offers significant experience working with airframe structures, landing gear, tires, transparency systems, radome structures, and engine components. The Aerostructures Team is part of the Structures Group which has solved complex engineering problems and conducted structures-related research and development for over 45 years. The Aerostructures Team and Structures Group are key contributors to the integrated and dynamic Structures and Materials Division that provides comprehensive capabilities for systems engineering, design/redesign, analysis, prototyping/fabrication, testing, and qualification in order to transition “real-world” hardware solutions for air and ground vehicles and complex test equipment.
