Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly regarded litigation firm to identify an Associate Attorney with 2-4 years of litigation experience to join a sophisticated and trial-focused practice. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking substantial responsibility, meaningful courtroom exposure, and hands-on involvement in complex civil litigation matters from the outset.

The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials, excellent writing and advocacy skills, and a desire to take an active role in all phases of litigation while working closely with experienced trial attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of civil litigation, from pleadings through trial and appeal

• Draft and respond to written discovery requests

• Conduct document review and manage large-scale document productions

• Prepare for, defend, and take depositions

• Perform legal and factual research

• Draft dispositive motions, briefs, and other litigation filings

• Participate in hearings, motion practice, mediations, and trial preparation

• Assist with appellate briefing and appellate matters as needed

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to effectively manage case strategy and workflow

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary: $240,000 - $280,000

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school

• Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association or eligibility for admission through reciprocity

• 2-4 years of civil litigation experience

• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Experience with electronic discovery and document-intensive litigation
