Belle Fourche EWS is located about 22 miles northwest of Belle Fourche, SD and the main site is physically located in Wyoming The basic duties include (but are not limited to): Apply basic electronics, electro-mechanical and technical knowledge to perform Preventive Maintenance Inspections, equipment servicing, operational and performance checks on Threat Emitter systems. Mechanical skills necessary for set-up and/or tear-down of Threat Emitter systems and support equipment. Tasks involve the ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and following detailed technical instructions while performing maintenance activities, performance tests, alignments and troubleshooting. Perform and assist with tasks involving removal & replacement of system sub-assemblies, circuit cards, wiring, drive motors, mechanical assemblies, antennas, waveguides and structural components. Repair basic electronic assemblies down to component level and document all maintenance actions. Operate, set-up and perform electrical measurements using common test equipment such as digital multi-meters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters and semiconductor testers. Must be able to operate computers and software applications that control Threat Emitter systems. Store tools, equipment and materials in an organized manner with a neat appearance.
