Description Leidos’ NISC IV Program (National Airspace System Integration Support Contract) is one of the largest and oldest programs supporting the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and we have an exciting career opportunity for an Environmental & Safety Professional to support the FAA with the goal of providing outstanding customer service to the Environmental Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) Program. In general, this person will be a part of a larger team of EOSH professionals that supports the FAA’s Eastern Service Area. The candidate will responsible for supporting many multi-faceted EOSH programs, and will be required to maintain applicable training and certification requirements as necessary. These programs include (but are not limited to) Asbestos, Lead, Mold, Chemical Management, Emergency Response, Electrical Safety, Water, Fuel Storage Tanks, and Fall Protection. The candidate will provide direct support to multi-level customers. Remote with up to 50% travel. Report to customer site as needed. Must be located in the Nashville, TN or Boston, MA areas. Specifically, the chosen candidate will have experience in writing reports with strict reporting deadlines. This includes extensive experience sampling and interpreting analytical reports and being able to identify exceedances in those reports. The selected candidate will also have experience climbing towers and/or be capable of receiving and giving fall protection training as well as completing tower safety inspections. The selected candidate must be able to provide comprehensive technical EOSH training to employees as requested. The selected candidate must have excellent customer service skills necessary to interact with senior level management and internal and external customers, as well as foster an environment of cooperation between different departments and co-workers. The chosen applicant must be a self-starter, able to work independently and with minimum supervision. This is a full time position that requires up to 75 percent travel. Overnight travel will be required in many instances. This position will be at the customer site in Memphis as requested. Primary Responsibilities Provide environmental and safety support to the FAA’s EOSH Programs. The primary programs are Indoor Air Quality (IAQ); Asbestos Management; Lead Management (paint); Polychlorinated Biphenyls Management; Chemical/Hazardous Waste Management; Pesticide Management; Drinking Water Management; Fuel Storage Tank Management; Fall Protection Program; Hearing Safety Program; Electrical Safety Program; Confined Space Program; and Radiation Program. Additionally, the candidate will be required to employ and be familiar with a wide variety of sampling instrumentation, sampling techniques. Conduct site inspections and surveys, and submit proper technical reports conveying findings and sound guidance to resolve/mitigate any EOSH issues. Manage inspections using electronic data; utilize on-line data storage locations; and be able to use all Microsoft programs. Research and interpret Federal, State, Local, and FAA rules and regulations that are applicable to EOSH Programs. Provide excellent problem-solving and customer service skills. Basic Qualifications/Experience: Requires Bachelors degree and 2+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters degree and relevant experience. Environmental, health and safety experience. Proven experience with various types of EOSH field equipment (ex. PID, XRF, Dosimeter, etc.). Proficient in obtaining and developing Asbestos samples & reports. Experience in conducting and developing indoor air quality (IAQ) samples & reports. Technical competence in surveying and developing Fall Protection issues & reports as well as Electrical Safety issues and reports. The Administrator will provide operations support to customers across multiple geographic locations. The administrator will help drive adoption of trusted thin-client platforms and virtual desktops across a diverse user base by focusing on improving the reliability, functionality, and user experience of the systems. Primary Tasks: Individuals in this role will be required to perform remote administration of servers located in offsite data centers. Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 operations support and be able to rapidly distinguish isolated user problems vs service outages for Citrix technologies to include Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix XenApp, Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix StoreFront in addition to Microsoft M365 Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD). Monitor infrastructure and identify system anomalies before they impact customers to include storage availability/capacity, network connectivity, database health, and other daily health checks as required. This job description does not constitute a written or implied contract of employment. 1. Manages assigned staff according to Administrative and Personnel Policy and Procedure. Completes facilities staff appraisals on time, adheres to progressive disciplinary procedures to address staff performance and behavior issues. Complies with reporting requirements regarding FMLA eligible absences, disciplinary actions, workplace accidents, safety issues, etc. Coordinates facilities projects by regularly communicating with involved organizational customers and vendors to ensure project success. Completes modules work orders, opening and closing of tickets, timely. 2. Oversees documentation Completes the required purchase order or expense request for projects. Provides first bid for projects and works with procurement for the best vendor and price. Benchmarks for your team will be created as a base standard for your team to review and improve on yearly. Completing 75% of work orders within four business days. Monthly and annual documentation of PM's Reports QA/QI indicators quarterly. 3. Customer Service Oversees the recording and tracking of all calls into software. Priorities and assigns all work orders Orders all required materials for both scheduled and unscheduled work requests Coordinates all center office moves. COMPENSATION: Starting salary for this position is approximately $22.57 /hr based on relevant experience and education. QUALIFICATIONS - Facilities Team Leader Experience: Minimum of three years' experience is required in the field of building maintenance and/or construction. Least two years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of computers and computer software, iPad, and cell phone is required. Education /Knowledge : High school diploma or GED, associate's degree or 2 years' experience in the field preferred. Basic understanding and knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems. Computer work is required; ability to multi-task and follow up on project management items is required. Must have good communication skills and the ability to work with vendors. Physical: Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Proficient in reading. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to type proficiently. Normal facility operations environment.
