Leidos has an opening for a Cyber Operations Watch Specialist on the DISA GSM-O II program supporting Joint Force Headquarters DODIN at Fort Meade.

Please note this position requires shift work - the incumbent will be assigned to SWING Shift / MON – THURS  / 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Program Summary:

GSM-O II enables Current Operations Command, Control, and defensive cyber operations (DCO) functions across all - Combatant Commands, Service Cyber Components, Agencies, and Field Activities’ (CC/S/A/FAs) Area of Operations (AOs) in addition to 24/7 coordination with USCYBERCOM and other partner agencies.

As a team member on our Cyber Operations Watch Floor, you will:

  • Serve as a Quality Control checkpoint for your respective team so as to deliver outstanding mission support to the customer.
  • Work to coordinate team efforts as it relates to current operational tempo and tasking.
  • Help execute continuous network monitoring and incident/problem resolution.
  • Triage events, incidents, and assist with developing AO specific trends.
  • Support various collaborative and cross functional (Intelligence, Current Operations, Future Operations, Logistics, Planning, Resourcing and Requirements) forums to achieve centrally coordinated, threat informed and prioritized vulnerability scoring and mitigation methodology. 
  • Support the development, coordination, release and compliance of orders
  • Provide advanced threat analysis, track relevant prioritized incidents and provide recommended reporting requirements in coordination with the Cross Functional Fusion Team.
  • Leverage intelligence and operational data, information and processes to identify threats, improve security, and reduce the enterprise’s exposure of vulnerabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and eligible for polygraph
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and 8+ years of related experience. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
  • Security+ Certification (or other equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification)
  • SIEM Tool Experience (ArcSight, Splunk, Wireshark, etc..)
  • Knowledge of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques and cyber threat/adversary methodologies (TTPs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DISA and DoD Networks.
  • Knowledge of the DoD orders process
  • Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.
  • Experience in building extended cyber security analytics.
  • Experience in intelligence driven defense and/or cyber Kill Chain methodology.

Primary Responsibilities.

  • Develop Post Data Analysis toolkits.
  • Review, understand and refine MATLAB and LabVIEW code.

  • Develop and maintain test procedures on software use to support testing and vehicle delivery.

Basic Qualifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven success supporting complex, multi‑disciplinary programs.
  • Strong understanding of engineering lifecycle processes (systems engineering, hardware integration, and production).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification or equivalent.

Primary Responsibilities

 

  • The CNC Machinist must be capable of reading engineering drawings and CAD models to produce unique precision parts.

  • Experience in the manufacturing of complex aerospace components from exotic materials, such as Titanium, is a plus.

  • 5-axis and/or mill-turn experience is a plus.

  • This role will work on different projects in an ever changing, rapid paced R&D environment with little or no assistance.

Basic Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with at least 2 years of precision machining experience on CNC Mills & CNC Lathes.

  • Candidates must have the ability to lift a minimum of 35+ pounds unassisted.

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

The Leidos Defense Group has an opening for a Cyber Security Fusion Analyst on the DISA GSM-O II program supporting Joint Force Headquarters DODIN at Fort Meade.

Position Summary:

GSM-O II provides network operations and cyber defense support to the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) in support of the DOD and COCOMs.  In this role, you will provide support with incident handling, triage of events, network analysis, threat detection, trend analysis, metric development, and vulnerability information dissemination.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Leverage an array of network monitoring and detection capabilities (including netflow, custom application protocol logging, signature-based IDS, and full packet capture (PCAP) data) to identify cyber adversary activity.

  • Support the development of Cyber Fusion standard operating procedures (SOPs), and Cyber Fusion Framework and Methodology based on industry best practice and department of defense instruction, guidance, and policy.

  • Identify threats to the enterprise and provide mitigation strategies to improve security, and reduce the attack surface.

  • Perform analysis by leveraging serialized threat reporting, intelligence product sharing, OSINT, and open source vulnerability information to ensure prioritized plans are developed.

  • Analyze and document malicious cyber actors TTPs, providing recommendations and alignment to vulnerabilities and applicability to the enterprise operational environment.

  • Discover adversary campaigns, anomalies and inconsistencies in sensor and system logs, SIEMs, and other data.

  • Identify, investigate and rule out system compromises, with the capacity to provide written analytic summaries and attack life cycle visualizations.

  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations based on analysis of technologies, threats, intelligence, and vulnerabilities.

  • Offer recommendations to adjust enterprise or tactical countermeasures to for threats impacting the DODIN.

  • Collect analysis metrics and trending data, identify key trends, and provide situational awareness on these trends.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance and eligible for polygraph

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline and 12 years of related experience.  Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree

  • Security+ Certification (or other equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification)

  • In-depth knowledge of network and application protocols, cyber vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques and cyber threat/adversary methodologies.

  • Proficiency with datasets, tools and protocols that support analysis (e.g. passive DNS, Virus Total, Recorded Future, TCP/IP, OSI, WHOIS, enumeration, threat indicators, malware analysis results, Wireshark, Splunk, Arcsight etc.).

  • Experience with various open-source and commercial vendor portals, services and platforms that provide insight into how to identify and/or combat threats or vulnerabilities to the enterprise.

  • Proficiency working with various types of network data (e.g. netflow, PCAP, custom application logs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the DISN and other DOD Networks.

  • Skilled in building extended cyber security analytics (Trends, Dashboards, etc.).

  • Demonstrated experience briefing Senior Executive Service (SES) and General Officer/Flag Officer (GO/FO) leadership.

  • Knowledge of digital data formats including, vector data, shapefile and spatial database, GML, and Extensible Markup Language (XML).

  • Knowledge and skills necessary to edit, merge, and/or conflate geospatial content.

  • Experience finding and using resources/webservices/websites as they pertain to features/attributes required for portrayal on map/charts.   • Demonstrated experience performing geo-locational mensuration functions, extract coordinates and positional relationships from digital database systems.

  • Demonstrated experience performing imagery interpretation from various imagery sources to validate features present on or missing from map/chart products and the underlying feature data.

  • Basic experience using a geospatial database.

  • Demonstrated experience communicating technical aspects of the cartographic product finishing tradecraft with clarity and accuracy both verbally and written.

Your role will directly support our diverse portfolio of programs through a combination of requirements and design architecture analysis; MBSE Model development; mentoring junior engineers and assisting technical leadership develop briefing material.

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Engineer with Leidos, you will use MBSE methodologies and tools to help develop system architectures on new development programs and incorporating Leidos unique capabilities into test or fielded HW.  This role will also assist the Solution Architect (SA) or Primary Investigator (PI) in aligning the solution architecture to the customer requirements.  Opportunities for potential customer interaction and ideal way to grow into a SA or PI.

  • Capture, decompose, and trace system level requirements.

Basic Qualifications:
