Hours
- B Shift | Mon-Wed & Every Other Sun | 6pm - 6am (12 hour shifts)
Wages
- Ranging from approximatly $30-$40/hour
- Wages are based on experience, skill and performance history
- B Shift has a $2/hour shift premium
Major Job Function
The primary responsibility of the Extruder Technical Team Leader is to keep the machines running at the highest level of proficiency as possible. This position will be responsible for both assisting the Supervisor in the overall operation of his or her assigned shift, as well as controlling and monitoring the film production of his or her designated lines. The Technical Leader should have a high working understanding of the extruder lines and have the ability to coach employees on its operations and communicate to people the basic functions of the machinery.

- Minimum of 5 years of Blown Film Extrusion Experience
- At least 1 year of experience training and/or leading a team
- Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal personnel.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to fellow employees.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.
- Must have a valid forklift license.
- Must be willing and able to work overtime when required
- Work in a manufacturing plant utilizing computers, dollies, forklift, hand tools, safety knives, packaging equipment, pallet jacks, and standard safety equipment.
- Utilize resource materials including production schedule and standardize forms/paperwork.
- Vision capabilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, and Excel), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
- Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
- Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
