We have an exciting opportunity in the Chicagoland Area, for an entry level Sales Engineer to learn and develop skills in HVAC Pre-Construction sales. As a Sales Engineer, you will excel at building and maintaining positive relationships with customers from first contact to closing the deal and throughout the duration of the project. As our company continues to expand, we want you to grow and develop with us!

You Are:

  • KNOWLEDGEABLE: Bachelors degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or relevant field or equivalent experience; basic industry and project management knowledge considered a plus
  • EXPERIENCED: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have familiarity with construction / project management software programs
  • A COMMUNICATOR: Effectively communicate both verbally and written to varied levels of audiences; ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts successfully to protect the companys interest
  • ADAPTABLE: Quickly adjust to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities under time constraints
  • FLEXIBLE: Available as needed; travel to client sites; attend client meetings and events

What Youll Do:

  • NETWORK: Identify and acquire new customers to secure profitable HVAC contracts
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS: Initiate and maintain trusting relationships with clients, promoting repeat business
  • PRIORITIZE: Ensure deadlines are met utilizing time management skills
  • ACHIEVE: Develop and execute innovative sales plans to meet sales targets
  • COORDINATE: Point of communication for customers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal coordination
