Product Demonstrator - Military veterans preferred

Job Description

We are seeking a Product Demonstrator who will be introducing Ace Hardware customers to new and exciting products and brands. This role is Part Time, working mid-day shifts Thursday-Sunday sampling food products and product demonstrations of grills, toys, gadgets, tools, etc. When the store isn't demoing products, you would either be working as a cashier or as a sales floor associate.

Responsibilities
*Preparing, cooking, cutting food while maintaining a clean environment
*Compliance with food safety and food handling requirements
*Working with store staff to achieve sales goals for the products
*Learning key product features to be able to professionally engage customers about key
product features

Qualifications
*Must be 18 years of age with reliable transportation
*Must be able to work weekends (Fri-Sat-Sun) and major holidays
*Active role that requires regular lifting, standing for 5-6 hours while sampling/demo
products
*Enjoy working with the public and being around crowds of people
*Food handling, Fast Food or Retail experience helpful but not required
