Laboratory Assembly Technician - Military veterans preferred

Our client, a developer of robotic-assisted surgical devices, is seeking a Laboratory Assembly Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production team supporting fellow team members, shift managers, and the engineers to meet performance goals. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, will be team oriented, and have a high level of comprehension which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Laboratory Assembly Technician (2nd Shift)

Location: Chapel Hill, NC

Pay Range: $18/hour

 

What’s the Job?

• Working in a dry lab environment assembling a variety of tissue products according to standard instructions and prints
• Operate and set up production supplies/equipment
• Perform inspection and simple repairs on one's own or other's work
• Become proficient at multiple assembly tasks while meeting requirements for workmanship, safety, and productivity
• Initiate basic material requests, report quality issues, report efficiency, record measurements as needed

 

What’s Needed?

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent 
• Previous experience completing complex assembly tasks, preferred
• Must have finger dexterity to cut, sew, join, reinforce, or suture parts of surgical mold made of pork products
• Fine motor skills and strong attention to detail
• Adherence to all corporate, regulatory, safety, and production policies and procedures

 

What’s in it for me?

• $18 an hour pay rate
• Temporary to hire opportunity
• $500 sign-on bonus after the first week and then an additional $500 each month for up to five months
• Weekly pay with direct deposit
• Monday-Friday 2nd shift schedule, 4pm-12:30am (Overtime as needed)
