TNA is currently looking for an Electrician in the Facility Operations area of our Plant Engineering and Maintenance Department. Our vision for this position is to provide support for the installation, maintenance, and performance monitoring of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Installs, maintains, and monitors performance of installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustments, or replacement, including conduit Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, equipment, and appliances using appropriate tools and testing instruments Leads, guides, and/or trains other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques Repairs and maintains electrical systems and minor mechanical systems Plans electrical system additions or modifications May perform work of lower level electricians Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as directed by management Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERENCES Minimum High School diploma At least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Journeyman Electrician license Understanding of electrical distribution systems Ability to read blueprints, schematics and other electrical diagrams Ability to use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment to repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits, equipment and appliances Ablility to lift 50 lbs Ability to diagnose and repair electrical controls, industrial motor control centers, and programmable logic controllers Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures Ability to install and maintain motors, welding equipment, lighting fixtures, generators, circuit breakers, and transformers as appropriate to the position Project planning, schedule and cost estimation Strong safety mindset and experience, including hands-on experience planning and conducting hazardous or critical operations Preferred OSHA 30 NFPA 70E EPA Universal Technician Exposure to HVAC, fluid handling/pumping, fluid filtering, mechanical systems TOYO TIRE NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER Experience Preferred 4 year(s): At least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified Education Preferred High School or better Behaviors Preferred Team player: Works well as a member of a group Functional expert: Seen as a ‘thought leader’ on a subject Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest Detail-oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all the details needed to get the task done well Dedicated: Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrity Motivations Preferred Self-starter: Inspired to perform without outside help Goal completion: Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasks Ability to make an impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organisation
