Education and Experience

  • Active TS/SCI and CI polygraph
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience
  • 5+ years specifically operating and managing Azure infrastructure.
  • Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification(Security+CE preferred)
  • Experience provisioning and managing Azure infrastructure to include VMs, storage accounts, block storage, VNETs, Network Security Groups and custom roles/permissions
  • Knowledge of DNS services, DHCP, Azure Key Management & Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with managing Azure Active Directory
  • Experience provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Desktop backend hosting & Azure IoT
    Experience provisioning and managing Azure VPN Gateways, Azure Firewalls, VNET peering and Azure User Defined Routing.
  • Understanding of on-premise to cloud connectivity using VPNs & Azure Express Routes
  • Understanding of L2/L3 networking fundamentals
  • Experience with managing & monitoring cloud-based infrastructure, security, and application environments


Summary
  • Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
  • Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
  • Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
  • Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
  • Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
  • Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
  • Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
  • May serve as a team or task lead
