Warehouse Manager responsibilities:

Perform an array of functions in the warehouse that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. This person will also be managing the vehicles and uniforms for all technicians.

Results Statement:

The results of successfully performing this role include warehouse asset administration, fleet control, and the management of the warehouse team to ensure we achieve monthly, quarterly and annual financial and KPI goals.

Tactical Work:

  • Stage all products for new installations
  • Ensure inventory procedures are being adhered to
  • Account for all scrap materials, ensuring all monies are collected
  • Keep the warehouse areas clean and presentable
  • Ensure safety standards are adhered to
  • Perform routine maintenance, truck washes and inspections as scheduled
  • Effectively manage the hours and routing of the parts runners
Vital Factors:

Meet or exceed the following daily KPIs:
  • Maintain stock of flashlights, Sadie dogs and red screws
  • Perform the required number of truck inspections each week
  • Keep the warehouse cleaned and organized
  • Process 100% of all warranty returns
  • Inventory Accuracy of +95%
Position Specific:
  • Supervise parts runners to include coaching, scheduling, setting work priorities, training, evaluating performance, and work standards
  • Manages capacity and job resources
  • Oversee all aspects of warehouse
  • Ensure that fleet vehicle safety and warehouse related expenses stay within budgeted expectations
  • Participate in inventory cycle counts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools
  • Fantastic organizational and time management skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem- solving skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Requirements
  • 2 years warehouse experience required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some previous experience in a similar role
  • Professional appearance
  • History of long term employment
  • Purchasing and warehouse experience
  • Fleet management experience
  • Able to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
  • Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
  • Dependable and reliable
  • Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry, and computer skills
  • Able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
Additional Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening (Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines, Opiates, Propoxyphene, PCP, Barbiturates, Benzodiazepines, Methadone) and comprehensive background check
  • US work authorization

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
