Job Summary

  • The Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) I is accountable for performing radiological procedures as directed.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department, from birth through geriatric population.   

Education and/or Experience

  • Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT.
  • Preferred Education of Associates Degree

Required License/Certification/Registration

  • Must be certified by and maintain current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 
  • BLS completed within 6 months of start date is required and must be maintained.

Work Schedule

  • Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
    • Day, Evening and Night shifts
    • Occasional weekend (1 weekend a month)
    • Occasional holiday (1-2 holidays a year)
    • Occasional call time (call when working weekends)

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $25.00 - $37.75 per hour
