Description:
Texas Biomed is searching for an ERP User Support Technician to join our IT team. This new member will be responsible to provide guidance, training, technical support and troubleshooting services to ERP, eRA, Payroll, and Purchasing system users.
The Role
Management of Level 1 and 2 responsibilities related to, but not limited to: basic support and troubleshooting such as password resets and account unlocks.
Conduct training for users in the proper use of the ERP, Payroll, Purchasing, and eRA systems.
Work with the appropriate departments to document proper processes and workflows for the ERP, Payroll, Purchasing, and eRA systems.
Recommend changes to improve systems, policies, processes, and workflows.
Monitor the IT Ticketing System to respond quickly to support requests for the ERP, Payroll, Purchasing, and eRA systems.
Log detailed descriptions of all incidents and resolutions in the TxBiomed ticketing system.
Maintain strong communication paths between customers and Microsoft during service outages.
Work with the Microsoft Dynamics System Administrator and Microsoft to troubleshoot complex issues for TxBiomed Microsoft Dynamics users.
Maintain the system knowledge base, ticketing system statuses, reports creation, and collect statistical data.
Our Ideal Candidate
Associate's Degree from an accredited college/university in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
3+ years of user support technical experience
Operational understanding of accounting and operations processes, and how they relate to Microsoft Dynamics 365
Understanding of SQL Reporting and relational databases
Demonstrated analytical, written, oral communication, and project management skills including interpersonal and presentation skills
Experience and a desire to use data to solve problems with a team
