Texas Biomedical Research Institute in San Antonio, TX, is searching for an enthusiastic, organized, and skilled full-time Research Assistant. The candidate will assist researchers with day-to-day tasks that may include performing research and data management.

The Role:
• Performs entry level scientific research tasks.
• Sets up and operates equipment as required by research tasks.
• Evaluates, selects, and applies standard scientific techniques.
• Generates, records and compiles research data adhering to institutional quality standards
• Participate in quality control activities as required.
• Function as part of a Team contributing to lab activities as required
• Perform studies at BSL3 and BSL4 biocontainment laboratories.

Our Ideal Candidate:
• Requires a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in biological sciences.
• Laboratory bench experience
