Senior Equipment Specialist
Job Description:
Sumaria Systems has a position available for a Senior Equipment Specialist supporting the MQ-9 Reaper enterprise. This position requires the application of knowledge and experience remotely piloted aircraft and associated Ground Control Stations (GCS) and communication suite, and will provide technical support for the MQ-9 GCSs in the field. This position will initially support a traveling Field Service Representative (FSR) team providing updates to GCSs stateside. This position will ultimately transition to a GCS/communication suite technician for the Air Force Depot-level activity providing sustainment support for the MQ-9 system.
Duties include providing maintenance and upgrade support to fleet GCS for aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle sustainment activities. Employee will provide maintenance planning logistics support along with advisory assistance to adequately troubleshoot and provide maintenance disposition to field technical assistance requests. Additionally, employee will provide advisory assistance and technical advice to operational units to resolve system engineering and maintenance concerns for fielded equipment. Position requires travel 50-75% of the time initially.
Education: Minimum High School Diploma
Years' Experience: 12 years, 5 years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
