Spherical is seeking a talented LA-based Engagement Coordinator with a proven track record in public engagement within government and non-profit settings. Spherical is working to develop the "Living Infrastructure Field Kit," software tools that seek to provide technical support for partner organizations during the visioning and development of community-led environmental and infrastructure projects. These tools serve to support community engagement, site selection, and evaluate stressors or potential remedies for specific sites. 5+ years of career experience in public engagement with a focus on government and non-profit settings. Strong track record participating in or advancing environmental projects in the field. Demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations and regulatory agencies. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong project management and organizational abilities. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment. English/Spanish oral and written proficiency. Experience with relationship data management and communications tools, such as CRMs and support desks. Understanding of technology development processes is a plus. Experience with training and facilitation is a plus. Experience providing technical support is a plus. Must be based within Los Angeles County. What You Do

Partner Engagement:

Lead and execute public engagement strategies designed to promote the use and adoption of the Living Infrastructure Field Kit in community engagement, funding, and project design contexts. Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and other community members to gather insights and feedback. Project Coordination:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between project goals and stakeholder expectations. In many cases, the position will take a support role in moving environmental projects through a process of public engagement, and community co-design, into fundraising and implementation. Communication:

Develop clear and concise communication materials for various audiences, including project updates, community notifications, and stakeholder presentations. Often, this position will take lead in hosting events for promotional and educational purposes. Problem-Solving:

Address challenges and conflicts that may arise during the engagement process, finding effective and collaborative solutions. Team Collaboration:

Collaborate with internal and external teams to integrate community feedback into the development process, ensuring that projects meet both technological and community needs. Partner Recruitment:

Building new relationships, attending events, and targeted outreach to potential partners. Host Events:

Facilitating trainings and webinars for promotional and educational purposes. Technical Support:

Responding to support tickets and feature requests related to the tool.
