Our client, is seeking am Industrial Control Technician to join their team. As a technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, excellent communication skills and dependable which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Near the KCI Airport 

What’s the Job?

• Diagnose and repair error conditions in Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems within the Distribution Center.
• Supervise maintenance, modifications, and upgrades of Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking System controls.
• Evaluate the efficiency of materials handling equipment and automated picking systems, implementing necessary modifications for optimization.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance tasks to sustain productivity and operational efficiency in warehouse operations.
• Maintain the CMMS/EAM system, documenting repairs and equipment performance within the Distribution Center, while managing the inventory of spare parts to ensure operational continuity.

What’s Needed?

• Proficiency in troubleshooting high and low voltage equipment, including conveyor systems, and manufacturing machinery.
• Working knowledge of electrical theory to uphold safety standards and protocols.
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance practices to ensure equipment longevity and operational efficiency.
• Ability to diagnose and address both mechanical and electrical issues efficiently.
• Experience in diagnosing and repairing error conditions in Materials Handling Equipment and Automated Picking Systems, overseeing maintenance and upgrades, assessing equipment efficiency, and managing spare parts inventory.
