Do you have commercial or healthcare building experience as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent? Are you interested in using your field expertise to support our Scheduling team? McCarthy is seeking a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent with demonstrated success in managing project schedules to join our Scheduling team. This individual will be responsible for partnering with field teams to develop, track and update schedules from inception to completion of the project. This position will be based out of our LA office with travel to various jobsites.
Communicate effectively with all field staff members, scheduling consultant and the client to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates
Meet with Subcontractors as required in development of baseline schedule, monthly updates and recovery schedules
Identify and communicate significant schedule risks to Staff and appropriate Division personnel
Forecast impacts of variances to aid in the management of the schedule
Utilize Primavera P6 scheduling software to update and document schedule performance
Monitor and status schedule progress
Analyze delivery impacts, time extensions, claims, etc. through the use of schedule fragnets
Implement controls to avoid claims
Interact with scheduling consultant in schedule reviews, claims analysis, etc. Perform cash flow projections / analysis on a monthly basis
Perform manpower projections / analysis
Participate in Division training seminars
Train/Lead classes and facilitate learning of the scheduling systems amongst the project staff.
2 to 5+ Years of construction scheduling experience
Proficiency in developing, resource loading, analyzing and reporting on project schedules
Primavera P6 scheduling experience
General knowledge of construction means and methods
Good organization and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering required or equivalent years of experience in Scheduling construction projects

For Southern California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $88,000 - $115,000. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
