Description:

The Rental Business Analyst is responsible for compiling and maintaining high-quality data and performing analysis to inform and influence sales and marketing decisions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Champion data quality, training staff across departments on using data systems accurately
  • Develop and offer critical insights and pinpoint areas of opportunity by providing trend projections, as well as accurate analyses of campaign ROI and sales lead performance.
  • Drive customer-focused solution development and business strategies by integrating multiple sources of data and sharing findings with management through written reports and effective visualizations.
  • Report on specific projects as well as data analysis activities on a monthly basis
  • Support internal analytics teams by facilitating knowledge-sharing and skill development
  • Extend the dealership's customer knowledgebase by conducting valid research on customer needs, feedback and demographics, and maintain CRM tools to ensure data quality.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with all departments within the enterprise
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports to assist in all areas of the Sales Department with an emphasis on inventory forecasting
  • Assist in fleet planning, inventory management
  • Assist the Finance Department in performing the day to day operations of the department
  • Assist sales team with alternative financing options as well as assisting with document prep
  • Must proficiently use Microsoft Excel to run calculations, trends, comparisons, etc. (This candidate must have excellent Excel skills!)


Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma + 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (education may be waived due to on the job experience)
  • Knowledge of statistical methodologies, techniques, and data analysis.
  • Business awareness and numerical ability.
  • Ability to run and operate database systems
  • Good knowledge of computer hardware and software and ability to learn new software.
  • Proficient in using analytical tools and instruments – especially Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication skills
