The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities leading to the collection of accounts receivable that are delinquent, utilizing verbal and written communications with shopping center tenants as well as:

  • Work closely with property managers, leasing managers, retailers and accountants.
  • Contact retail tenants on a daily basis for payment.
  • Resolve delinquent payment issues.
  • Send out default notices.
  • Reconcile retail tenant accounts, write offs etc.
  • Generate various receivables reports.
  • Provide bad debt recommendations

Requirements:

  • College degree preferred.
  • Reconciling of accounts receivable.
  • Requires 2+ yrs experience in real estate.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Above average experience with MS Office and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Solid time management skills with ability to prioritize and successfully balance multiple tasks and requests
  • Self starter; able to work with minimal direction in a high pressure environment
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Accounting and JD Edwards knowledge a plus.
