Description:

As Lead Data Business Process Consultant, you will play a crucial role in optimizing business processes and driving data-driven decision-making for our customers. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing efficiency, risk management, and overall performance.


This position will be the lead for EUCOM for Army New Data Efforts. They will be responsible both for business process definition, documentation, process engineering, and oversight of the theater development efforts. The team being overseen will include security functions, database administration, application development, and data pipeline development. As the forward deployed lead this position will also maintain relationships with stakeholders and customer requirement management, as well as maintenance of the user story backlog and Scrum operation.

This position will further be responsible for personnel management and corporate functions relating to team management such as timecard approval, task management, annual reviews, certification and compliance, etc.


Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:

Process Consultation and Solutions:

Provide consultation, solutions, and change management to the business regarding risk management processes.

Utilize established methodologies and control plans to ensure alignment with specific organizational goals and process requirements.

Business Understanding:

Deeply understand the business operations of our clients.

Identify and document necessary changes and adjustments required to enable smooth business operations using new systems and features.

Collaboration:

Work closely with customers, onsite and offsite teams to prepare business user groups and units for system functionalities and features.

Facilitate Solutions Design Walkthroughs and obtain business approval.

Business Analysis:

Perform Business Analysis tasks related to Security and Privacy rules and regulations.

Deliver technical and business transformation aligned with the Strategic Roadmap.

Prioritization and Efficiency:

Partner with internal clients (departmental heads and other business owners) to understand operational needs and technical requirements.

Establish priorities and strategies to meet business objectives while maintaining or improving efficiency.

Process Improvement:

Observe business workflows and identify areas for improvement.

Define benefits and business cases for process enhancements.

Standardization and Tools:

Equip Customer Solutions with a common approach to solving business process problems using tools such as Six Sigma.


This role will be performed 80% remote with 20% onsite.

This role will require ~20% TDY within the EUCOM AOR.

Requirements:


  • 5-10 years experience working with data in DoD
  • 2-5 years experience with running application development teams and scrums
  • Experience with customer relationship management
  • Experience interfacing with general officers and SES customers, and their associated staff
  • Experience with business process engineering and development
  • Experience producing flow chart, swim lanes, and process flow designs for large organizations
  • Experience extracting requirements and operations from stakeholders through assisted interviews and engagements
  • Experience producing senior level briefing materials, tracking schedules and milestone timelines, as well as regularly tieing in efforts with senior leader guidance
  • Needs to be driven and able to take independent initiative to proactively address and resolve customer concerns
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Statistics, or related fields.
  • Security+ Certification
  • Active US Government Clearance at Secret level or higher
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required.
