Employment Status: EXEMPT

Salary: 80,000 – 90,000 annually

Summary of Position:

Under the supervision of the Senior Director, Operations, the IT/AV Systems Administrator will supervise and assist IT/AV staff and vendors to ensure daily operational needs are implemented to Meridian's standards. This is a hands-on role and requires the ability to perform day-to-day operational tasks as well as supervise others.


This position is located in Washington D.C. and Meridian requires MD, DC, or VA residence for all employees. The position may work partially remotely at supervisor's discretion.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and assist as needed day-to-day IT/AV support staff for efficient and timely completion of all tasks, projects, and services.
  • Perform staff administrative duties such as performance reviews, trainings, professional development, weekly team schedules, and timesheet approvals.
  • Manage new systems projects by developing implementation plans, coordinating with stakeholders, researching specifications, assigning tasks and monitoring IT/AV team progress.
  • Develop, administer, and monitor annual budget for IT/AV vendor services and equipment needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurements by drafting RFP's, negotiating service contracts and monitoring vendor performance.
  • Supervise IT/AV helpdesk tickets and review performance feedback to provide consistent and effective support.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining IT/AV processes and documentations such as Onboarding/Off boarding new users, AV setups and productions, and equipment maintenance.
  • Responsible for initiating and maintaining contact with meeting planners to ensure all IT/AV requests are completed on time for a seamless meeting experience and that adequate staffing is on site for all events
  • Perform IT support to helpdesk requests and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Responsible for completing all organizational administrative responsibilities in a timely manner and meeting all organizational administrative deadlines
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements:

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
  • A minimum of three years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in management for a not-for-profit organization preferred.
  • Or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position

Technical Requirements:

· Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems

· Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

· Adobe Acrobat Pro and DC

· Internet Browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Edge)

· Experience with Canva, Zoom and Salesforce is helpful
