The Kaplan Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh seeks a postdoctoral researcher for studies on RNA Polymerase II function and evolution. The projects entail deep mutational scanning of yeast genes and involve the preparation and analysis of deep sequencing libraries. Experience with yeast manipulation, command line-based analysis, and informatics of deep sequencing results will be required. A Ph.D. in genetics, molecular biology, or biochemistry with experience in genomics is required.
