Enters loan data from source documents into computer system (Jack Henry) and provide support to internal and external customers by performing the following duties.


Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Keeps track and verifies data and source documents.
  • From source document, identifies and interprets data to be entered to loan system.
  • Informs supervisor of any discrepancies found in the loan packages such as inconsistencies, missing data, or source document, and finds resolution to questions.
  • Enters alphabetic or numeric data from source documents into JH system, and enters necessary codes.
  • Makes necessary corrections to information entered.
  • Compiles, sorts, and verifies accuracy of data to be entered.
  • Reviews loan account maintenance requests and enters maintenance on JH system.
  • Prepares and process disbursements and loan fees.
  • Files and routes source documents after entry.
  • Prepares correspondence for payoff and loan verification requests, process loan payments from the mail, and sends notices to the customer.
  • Provides routine office support such as answering phones, filing, and making copies of documents.

Other Duties

  • Responsible for complying with department procedures as documented within the BSA Compliance Program Operating Manual.
  • Responds on a timely basis to information requests received from BSA Officer.
  • Responsible for attending BSA related training sessions, as appropriate and directed by the BSA Officer.
  • Manager provides regular feedback regarding BSA Expectations and Performance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be familiar with Jack Henry System.
  • Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner by gathering and analyzing information skillfully.
  • Must have demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness by monitoring own work to ensure quality.
  • Must have demonstrated the use of effective time management by meeting the productivity standards, and by completing work in a timely manner.
  • Must be dependable by following instructions and respond to management direction, take responsibility for own actions, and consistently be at work on time.
  • Must possess professionalism, which is demonstrated by approaching others in a tactful manner, and treating others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.
  • Must possess a strong team orientation.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Salary Grade = 6

Work Environment

This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.

Physical Demands

This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.

Travel

Travel may be required for this position.

Education and Experience

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. One year of experience in loan operations or documentation preparation required.
  3. Microsoft Works
