Description:

This role will be one of the main developers for a new data effort in the assigned region. They will work with stake holders on a 2 week sprint cycle using a rapid prototyping method to develop and evolve local functions into automated centralized applications.

This position will require interfacing with the system owners, stake holders, end users, and other required elements. They will have to distill processes and workflows into creatable requirements and user stories. Then they will have to develop and produce containerized applications based on the above through and iterative development process.

This will involve development skills in UI, Web Apps, containerized applications, and data manipulation, as well as a heavy reliance on external data sources and data manipulation.

As the senior developer, the responsibility for developing documentation and training materials, as well as assuring compliance and architectural artifacts required for execution in DoD will fall to them.


This role will be performed 80% remote with 20% onsite.

Requirements:


  • 5-7 years experience
  • Web app development including mobile applications.
  • Jetty experience a plus. HTTP/2, WebSocket, OSGi, JMX, JNDI, JAAS experience a plus. Jetty is the webapp platform for TDF.
  • Experience developing code and applications in the DoD and knowledge of getting such applications through security processes
  • Experience troubleshooting development challenges and applications that support austere access challenges
  • Experience in developing Application Architecture artifacts and training/documentation.
  • Security+ Certification
  • Active US Government Clearance at Secret level or higher
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to regularly lift at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to commute to the designated onsite work location as required.
