Overview

Recruits, evaluates, and participates in the selection of candidates for admission to meet specific enrollment goals that aim to bring in a high-quality and diverse student body. Liases with all organizations and individuals involved in the admissions process. Develops public presentations designed to promote the institution. Advises parents and applicants about educational planning. May possess specialized knowledge in one or more areas of admissions, e.g. international recruitment, diversity outreach, etc. May have project or program responsibility. The Office of Undergraduate Admissions aims to develop, support, and empower a workforce that reflects the diversity of the students we serve.



Responsibilities

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience:
2+ years admissions or related student services experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to promote the University and to work independently as well as part of a team. Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills. Ability to handle sensitive situations and/or people. Valid drivers license. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel extensively.



Qualifications

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $62,400.00 to USD $68,640.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
