Description

Who We Are

IREX is a global development and education organization. We strive for a more just, prosperous, and inclusive world—where individuals reach their full potential, governments serve their people, and communities thrive. With a projected annual portfolio of more than $150 million and more than 750 staff worldwide, we work with partners in more than 100 countries in four areas essential to progress: cultivating leaders, empowering youth, strengthening institutions, and increasing access to quality education and information.

The Program Coordinator will work as a representative of the UNITY Program implemented by IREX office in Ukraine, liaising with UNITY participating youth centers and communities (hromadas) in the Eastern and Southern regions of Ukraine, including youth groups, local governments, public institutions, potential contractors, and coordinating program interventions in the field.

UNITY (Mriemo ta diemo) program is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by IREX in partnership with Building Ukraine Together (BUR), Center for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR Ukraine), Making Cents International (MCI), International Republican Institute (IRI), and Zinc Network. This activity launched in 2020 is designed to foster vested ownership among Ukrainian youth in their country’s democratic, European future by further mobilizing youth leadership around a values-based conception of Ukrainian identity grounded in innovation, engagement, and pluralism, and restoring access to education. UNITY implements a variety of projects out of youth centers based in different hromadas across Ukraine.

The Program Coordinator will work as a full-time employee under the supervision of Youth Centers Manager and in close coordination with other UNITY components, such as economic opportunities for youth, civic engagement, social cohesion, access to education, research and learning.
