Job Summary
UK Ag Equine Programs is an interdepartmental unit within The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture Food and Environment and is seeking a candidate with strong interpersonal and organizational skills to serve as a Budget Officer (Administrative Support Associate II). Equine Programs is known for valuing teamwork, innovation, and productivity in support of equine-related programs and initiatives across the University. The Administrative Support Associate is highly valued as a member of this effective team by supporting faculty, staff and students with activities related to the business operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for budget management, human resources and administrative tasks ranging from payroll, reporting and cost distribution, to budgeting, meeting coordination, advisory board support and logistical support. Additionally, the position coordinates recruitment and hiring administrative tasks. Equine Programs is committed to promoting work-life balance by offering hybrid work arrangements that allow for some amount of remote work once established in the position for 6 months.
