Job Summary
We are looking for reliable, pleasant, energetic persons with an impeccable work ethic to assist with study related activities (e.g., patient eligibility screening, recruitment, and enrollment, data collection, and data entry/checking) under the supervision of the study project coordinator and principal investigator. The positions may require travel to collect data and to assist coordinator with other duties which may be widely varied. A good knowledge of iPad use is necessary as well as computer skills: a good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and REDCap is mandatory for this position. A reliable vehicle or ability to use a state vehicle is required. These persons must be able to work well and collaborate with others who hold a wide variety positions and departments at the University of Kentucky. These persons who hold this position must be able to work autonomously, problem solve, and use critical thinking skills.
This position will also learn the basics of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and standard operating procedures (SOP); collaborate and consult with other health professionals in study participation and to ensure protocol compliance; and other duties as assigned. The persons will communicate with the principal investigator and project coordinator regarding any issues encountered during the recruitment, enrollment, data collection, and follow-ups.
