Security II - PT Overnight - Military veterans preferred

Carlsbad By The Sea is a continuing care resort-style retirement community on the coast in beautiful Carlsbad.

We currently have an opening for a part-time overnight Security shift.

Under the direction of the Security Supervisor, the Security staff is responsible providing security services for residents and employees of Carlsbad by the Sea.

Join our team where you will:

• Patrols, periodically, outside grounds of community and lobbies, corridors and public rooms, access points of community to ensure safety and security of residents and staff.
• Responds to fire alarms, emergency call switch activation and other emergencies.
• Investigates and completes resident loss reports and incident reports.
• Keeps accurate log of shift activities.

Required:

• Must be able to work in a team, multi-task and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
