Electrical Maintenance Mechanic II

FULL-TIME

$36.69/hr

- Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to optimize equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and repair processing, packaging, and facility equipment.
- Work closely with production personnel to identify and address mechanical downtime causes.
- Interpret mechanical blueprints, electrical schematics, and PLC logic diagrams.
- Perform metal fabrication tasks, including cutting, welding, and finishing, as needed for repairs.
- Demonstrate expertise in AC and DC motors, VFD drives, and safely troubleshoot circuits of varying voltages.
- Assess equipment condition and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and document outcomes.
- Lead crew, safety, and team meetings when necessary.
- Train operators and other staff in equipment operation and maintenance.
- Participate in Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) autonomous maintenance teams.
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) at all times.
- Prioritize safety and adhere to good manufacturing practices.
- Maintain a customer service focus in organizing and prioritizing work.
- Display excellent customer service skills while collaborating with internal customers.
- Focus on solutions to resolve issues that satisfy both internal and external customers.

Schedule

Shift start: 8:00PM
Shift length: 8 - 12 hours
Monday - Friday Training for 6 months on dayshift (6am-2:30pm). 12 hr Night shift (8pm-8am) following 6 month-training period

Qualifications
  • Must pass drug screen

  • Must be at least 18+ years old
Relevant trade or technical school training preferred 2 years of industrial manufacturing maintenance experience preferred 2 years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience preferred Be willing to adjust work hours for occasional departmental coverage. Demonstrate flexibility in working shifts and overtime. Manage time effectively and work well under pressure. Exhibit strong mechanical troubleshooting skills. Follow maintenance procedures meticulously, including PM schedules and documentation. Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization and with external contacts. Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights (up to 60 feet).
