The Facilities Porter is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and cleaning of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
1st shift position. Shift time is typically 6:00am 2:30pm
2nd Shift position. Shift time is typically 2:00pm 10:30am
3rd shift position. Shift time is typically 10:00pm - 6:30am
? Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
? Adaptable to customer needs.
? Maintains and improves facility grounds based on established sustainability guidelines
? Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs tasks as needed to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition.
? Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
? Performs tasks such as planting, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, sweeping, raking, salting, shoveling snow, removing ice, etc.
? Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
? Reports on any major maintenance need and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
? Demonstrates efficient and safe use of vehicle equipment by adhering to all driving regulations, company safety policies and procedures.
? Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures.

? Previous groundskeeping experience preferred
? Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
? Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
? Must possess a valid driver?s license
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
