Warehouse Associate / Junior Construction Manager - Military veterans preferred

** Ramapo Communication Corp** ** Warehouse Associate / Junior Construction Manager** Hartford, CT 06114 Ramapo Communication Corp. is looking for a motivated and dedicated individual to join our growing team. The individual will be responsible for playing a role in our Warehouse as well as being the Junior Construction Manager. This individual fills a pivotal role in the function of the company and is responsible for ensuring effective execution of the core field and warehouse operational duties. As a junior CM, you will assist and monitor on site crews to ensure site build progress & quality control meets and or exceeds company expectations. You will also be responsible for daily on-site supervision of labor, materials, and machinery and ensures the project is on schedule and meets budget requirements. The individual will be responsible for daily warehouse operations when not on the field. See below for Job Duties: **Job Duties**: ***Warehouse*** * Verify and track incoming client and company material shipments * Assist warehouse team with overall maintenance of the warehouse * Utilize material handling equipment such as forklifts to relocate and organize materials as needed * Pull and distribute materials, tools, and other items in order to fulfill requests * Commute to various job sites to deliver and pickup outgoing material * Work in a fast paced team oriented environment to ensure efficient function of the warehouse ***Quality Control*** * Provides technical support to in house crews and subcontractors when needed * Provides necessary communication between Project Manager and on-site crews * Reports the status and job progress of individual jobs to Project Managers * Take progress photos * Travels and perform site walks when needed ***Safety*** * Oversee job sites and workers to ensure highest level of quality and safety * Reads construction documents and performs structural analysis * Verify Job Safety Analysis is completed daily on all jobs by all crews on site * Provides necessary communication between Project Manager and on-site crews when safety concerns arise. * Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with company safety guidelines and procedures * Requests certificates of insurance from subcontractors to ensure eligibility for work ***Coordination / Scheduling*** * Assists the PM in coordinating and monitoring schedule updates. * Ensures jobs are being completed by crews in a manner that meets or exceeds company expectations. * Assists in managing and reviewing the progress of contractors construction schedules * Reviews BOM and identifies missing or additional material ensuring material is ordered * Coordinate with warehouse team to ensure delivery of site materials. * Coordinate equipment rental * Oversees and closes active permits upon job completion
