GENERAL DESCRIPTION:Warehouse Associates are part of the team responsible for the receiving, stocking, and shipping of tires and wheels for all our store locations. This position will report to the Warehouse Manager and is expected to maintain the highest levels of productivity within the warehouse/driver workgroup.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for unloading of incoming deliveries.
  • Clearing the unloading area of incoming deliveries by storing into inventory loaded bins of tires.
  • General cleanup of unloading area and surrounding warehouse as directed.
  • Assist the regular route drivers with loaded as needed.
  • Assist in clearing the dock to facilitate pulling the next day's stock order.
  • Check overflow/returns area to see if anything needs restocked.
  • Picking tire stock orders as required.
  • Maintain correct inventory in WMS computer system.
  • Ensure tires/items are accurately loaded into each truck.
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • No previous warehouse experience is required but is a plus.
  • Maintain Excellent Attendance
  • Desire and ability to work as a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Must be able to operate an RF Scanner with training.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or a GED equivalent certificate from a certified institution.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift up to 75lbs repetitively throughout the shift.
  • Repeated bending, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for 90% of the workday.
  • Must be able to be trained and operate the material handling equipment in a safe/efficient manner.
  • Work in the extreme head/cold inside trailers/containers.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with loud noises.
