Strategic Account Executive

Position Overview:
As Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving
the lead generation process, identifying client needs, delivering meaningful proposals, closing new
business, supporting client transition to the client success team, and maintaining relationships
with clients post win. The ideal Account Executive has a background in selling information
services, is a result-oriented professional with a proven history of business development, sales,
client account management, and excels working in an office environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed your annual sales goal.
Identify prospects by targeting the companys ideal decision maker profile and building
relationships based on trust, need, and value.
Daily activities will include but not limited to phone calls, video calls, in-person
meetings/presentations, and trade shows. All activities will be recorded each day within the
companys client relationship management software.
Collaborate with team members across the organization from operations to sales to marketing to
finance to leadership to optimize the proven company sales process
and drive pipeline development and sales.
Continuously refine and improve strategies based on feedback, learnings, and results.
Develop strong matrix relationships with the client success team to understand clients ongoing
needs and how best to position these for future prospect conversations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience through past performance driving increase in sales.
Persuasive communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in an office environment. Remote work will be considered after the
first six (6) months of being with the company.
Familiarity and experience using a client relationship management tool.
Competent in the full suite of Microsoft Solutions (word, PowerPoint, excel and out
outlook)
Past performance of building relationships and developing thought leadership position through
social media tools (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter)
Strong presentation skills
Prior work experience in the IT space, preferably as a seller and/or seller/doer
Entrepreneurial spirit with an understanding that we win as a team, and we learn as a
team.
Requirements:
BA/BS from an accredited college or university
Three to Five (3-5) years of experience in sales/business development
Ability to prove past history of sales results.
Job Type: Full Time based in Oakbrook, Illinois

Benefits:
Anticipated first (1st) year on target earning of $125,000 or greater.
