As Carpenter at the Thrill Capital of New England…

You’ll contribute to our mission by:

  • Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives
  • Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters
  • Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards
  • Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented
  • Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
  • Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team
  • Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments
  • Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park

You’ll do it with your:

  • Experience as a Carpenter
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
  • Sense of fun
  • Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
  • Willingness to work in a high performance team environment

You’ll know you’re ready if you are:

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
  • 18 years old or older with a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
  • Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings
