The Proposal Manager will support the development of Federal Government proposals and other responses or writing assignments (Sources Sought, Requests for Information, etc) by working with technical leads to determine solutions and concept(s); gather and format information; develop outlines, write drafts, lead proposal review efforts, edit content, and obtain approvals before bids. This role will work closely with the Business Development team. The Proposal Manager will also support the Venatore Business Development team by conducting market research activities that include monitoring

bid opportunity online portals to identify, analyze, nominate (or reject) new business opportunities for potential Venatore pursuit. The Proposal Manager will collaborate with the Business Development team to add/update approved opportunities into the Venatore BD pipeline through the use of Venatôre’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. Duties/Responsibilities: Write concise, compliant, compelling, and winning Federal and DOD proposals. Respond to federal requests for proposals (RFP), Sources Sought notices and Requests for Information Market corporate capabilities to government customers, as required, via written products and updates to corporate web page Provide descriptions of various corporate management and technical solutions with emphasis on—but not limited to—IT/Cyber capabilities and concepts, logistics and sustainment, and general mission support-related services Ensure documents meet customer specifications and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style. Meet proposal schedule deadlines and participate in/lead color reviews Edit other team members written sections and work, as required Participate in the design and development of written content in marketing materials Work with proposal team members in coordinating and preparing final drafts for submission. Perform other business development and marketing-related duties as assigned .

To include:

Monitor business opportunity portals for new/emerging bid opportunity postings Analyze/Qualify opportunities to match customer requirements to Venatore core capabilities and/or past performance Exercise independent judgment to disqualify opportunities not in alignment with Venatore strategic objectives or performance capabilities

Provide bid/no-bid recommendations to the Business Development team Update/Maintain data in the Venatore BD pipeline using CRM tools Required Qualifications: Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience writing management and technical proposals in response to Federal Government RFP/RFQs. Bachelor’s degree Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. General understanding, or the ability to learn, Federal Government procurement and contracting procedures, terms, and policies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent writing and grammatical skills. Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text. Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently. Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficient with group collaboration tools such as Zoom, MS Teams, SharePoint, Slack, etc. Experience and/or familiarity working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
