Responsibilities
Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface.
Must be able to manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians and other staff via remote platforms.
Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
Validate remote data is being received on all applicable patients into the remote monitoring system.
Validate patient name, room number and remote ID are consistent and correct between the remote monitoring system and the EMR.
Escalate remote monitoring alerts via the facility algorithm and document outcomes.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing
Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
Current multistate license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or obtained within 6 months
