Responsibilities

  • Responsible and accountable for the practice of Nursing for assigned patients or tasks via a remote interface.
  • Must be able to manage multiple technology platforms and develop collaborative relationships with patients, families, physicians and other staff via remote platforms.
  • Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
  • Validate remote data is being received on all applicable patients into the remote monitoring system.
  • Validate patient name, room number and remote ID are consistent and correct between the remote monitoring system and the EMR.
  • Escalate remote monitoring alerts via the facility algorithm and document outcomes.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in medical/surgical inpatient nursing
  • Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • Current multistate license to practice as a registered nurse (RN) or obtained within 6 months
  • Maintains current BLS

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
