We are looking for a performance engineer who is experienced in performance testing of OMS((on Prem and SaaS)

Location: This opening may be filled at the following location(s):  Brentwood, TN or Bentonville, AR. Working remotely may also be an option.

Role:  IBM Sterling OMS Performance Engineer

Work experience:10-12 years

Required Qualifications/Skills:

•                 Expertise in Performance testing tools – LoadRunner, MS VisualStudio, Jmeter, etc.

•                 Knowledge & experience around different types of testing – Load, Stress, Performance, Endurance, Spike, Network emulation…

•                 Design and implementation of workload modelling

•                 Experience in Monitoring tools (any tool) – AppDynamics, DynaTrace, SiteScope, Elastic Search, Splunk…

•                 Log monitoring configuration experience

•                 Experience around Tomcat/JVM fine tuning

•                 Experience around .Net and DB (SQL, Couchbase…) fine tuning

•                 Profiling applications/services (CPU, Memory, Disk IO, Threads, GC…)

•                 Memory/Thread dump analysis

•                 JAVA experience

•                 Containers scaling/fine tuning experience

Preferred:
Retail domain experience

Roles & Responsibilities:

•                 Experience on IBM Sterling OMS

•                 Experience on performance testing of OMS (on Prem and SaaS)

•                 Understanding of cloud infrastructure

•                 Ability to write test automation scripts

•                 Knowledge of performance test and analysis tools

•                 Strong communication skills

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until 05/02/2024
The annual salary for this position is between $117,400 to $131000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
