RF Integration Engineer - Military veterans preferred

Description

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking an experienced RF Integration Engineer to join our team, specializing in Integration, Assembly Test and Checkout. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration and testing strategies for complex RF systems.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration and testing strategies for complex RF systems

• Participate in design reviews, identify issues that could arise during integration and provide solutions

• Identify, troubleshoot, document, and resolve issues during integration and testing

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute integration, test and checkout activities to ensure seamless integration of systems and components.

• Develop and maintain work instructions for integration and testing processes

• Provide support to production floor

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in integration and testing of complex systems

• Strong knowledge of RF systems with the ability to troubleshoot through entire RF chain

• Experience troubleshooting hardware, firmware and software issues

• Strong knowledge of integration and testing methodologies and technologies

• Experience with system integration and test tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar

• Experience with electronics test equipment such a multimeters, oscilloscopes and VNA’s

• Experience with programming languages such as C++, Python, or similar

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Must be U.S. Citizen

Possess SECRET Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance

Must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL area.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on DoD program

• Experience integrating antennas, radars and communications equipment

• Experience developing system requirement verification plans, functional decomposition / allocation, and ICDs

• Experience involving Model Based Systems Engineering approaches, methods and techniques

Pay Range:

Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
