The National Security Sector at Leidos is hiring for a Junior-level Knowledge Manager to join our team supporting a U.S. federal government intelligence agency. This role aligns processes and technology to enable information sharing to produce the highest levels of Defense finished intelligence. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, professionalism, and be motivated to support the warfighter. This position is contingent upon contract award.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Employ centralized and peripheral databases, content management, records management systems, and shapes government workflow / processes.
  • Track performance, usage metrics, and future requirements for existing capabilities, including the search, discovery, storage, and retrieval of data.
  • Enable information sharing among analysts and organizations by analyzing and shaping workflow / processes.
  • Ensure proper security protocols are used to protect classified, proprietary, and personally-identifiable information.  
  • Provide analytics, dashboarding, and reporting on performance and usage metrics.

What does Leidos need from me?

  • Must have an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • Minimum three years of experience relevant to database management, with at least a portion of the experience within the last two years.
  • Knowledge of database back up, restoration, creation, and cloning best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability in upgrading and performing maintenance on databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to monitor database efficiency.
  • Experience manipulating data to organize data sets into retrievable categories.
  • Knowledge of database design, application, and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledgeable of and demonstrated ability to apply IC and DoD classification guidelines and procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex issues clearly in a concise and organized manner both verbally and non-verbally; with strong grammar skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize nuances and resolve contradictions and inconsistencies in information.

Favorable if you have:

  • Understanding different database languages, data manipulation, data control, data definition and transaction control languages.
  • In-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience with the intelligence production cycle, executive intelligence production, and data science and related technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an area related to database management from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. However, an additional four years of experience in intel management, for a total of seven years of experience in the specific labor category, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $81,250.00 - $146,875.00
